| Day 01 | Zurich - St. Moritz On arrival in Zürich proceed to the train station. Enjoy the journey to St. Moritz (approx. 3.5 hrs, change trains in Zürich-HB and Chur), one of the most renowned holiday resorts in the world. Chic, elegant and exclusive with a pronouncedly cosmopolitan ambiance, it is situated at 1’856 m (5’624 ft) above sea level, which is in the middle of the lake-dotted landscape of the Upper Engadine. The “dry, sparkling champagne climate” has become legendary and the famous sun shines an average 322 days a year. Overnight stay at St. Moritz. |
| Day 02 | St. Moritz - Glacier Express - Zermatt After an early breakfast, you travel from St. Moritz to Zermatt by Glacier Express. A 7 ½ hour journey is lying ahead of you with 219 bridges, 91 tunnels an0d the Oberalp Pass at 2’033 m (6’607 ft). Enjoy a panoramic trip through the Alps in the heart of Switzerland. We suggest that you book a table in the dining car. You arrive in Zermatt in the early evening. This car-free resort is situated at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn. Overnight stay at Zermatt. |
| Day 03 | Zermatt - Gornergrat Today discover a stunning natural paradise The Gornergrat train takes you from Zermatt to the top of the 3’089 m (11’333 ft) Gornergrat. The journey goes through aromatic stone pine and larch forests and across alpine meadows. Experience 29 four-thousand-meter-high mountains covered with snow and ice. In the afternoon you return to the hotel. Overnight stay at Zermatt. |
| Day 04 | Zermatt - Interlaken After breakfast, travel to Interlaken by train (approx. 2 hrs 15 minutes). Experience crystal clear lakes, sparkling streams and fantastic falls, caressed by the sunbeams. The towering trio of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau stands sentinel over a world of eternal snow. After having checked in at your hotel, the rest of the day is free to explore Interlaken on your own. Overnight stay at Interlaken. |
| Day 05 | Interlaken - Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe After breakfast, you board the train to Kleine Scheidegg via Lauterbrunnen (approx. 1.5 hrs). The famous Jungfrau railway takes you to the highest station in Europe (approx. 1 hrs). A day of fun and excitement is awaiting you in the captivating snow peaks of Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe (3’454 m/11’333 ft). Visit the Ice Cave with its ice formations or else explore the snow on the glacier. You find a range of international restaurants on the Jungfraujoch. Return to Interlaken by train with an optional stopover in Grindelwald (approx. 2.5 hrs). Overnight stay at Interlaken. |
| Day 06 | Interlaken - Luzern (Lucerne) After breakfast, the morning is free to explore Interlaken on your own. In the afternoon, proceed to Luzern by panoramic train over the Brünig Pass (approx. 2 hrs). Overnight stay at Luzern. |
| Day 07 | Luzern - Mount Titlis Today, travel by train to Engelberg (approx. 1 hrs), which is just an hour away. Experience the world’s first revolving cable car that takes you to the top of Switzerland’s highest vantage point with a breathtaking 360 degree view (approx. 45 mins). Spend some time in the snow with your snow disc. In the evening you return to Luzern (approx. 2 hrs). Overnight stay at Luzern. |
| Day 08 | Luzern - Zürich/Geneva Today you are free to discover Luzern on your own. Visit the 700 years-old wooden Chapel Bridge, the Lion Monument and the shopping malls. In the afternoon proceed to Zürich by train (approx. 1 hrs). Overnight stay at Zürich/Geneva. |
| Day 09 | Zürich/Geneva - Depart for the onward journey After breakfast, you either proceed to the airport for your onward flight or else continue your stay in Switzerland. |
